Abandonment
Chained forgotten and abandoned in time space.Neglected beauty, and the pride of yesterday, memories, nostalg ia,and what was yesterday's happy cities life, all but locked up,privatized and made inexcusably forbidden by a lock, noticeably unnoticed, forgotten mysterious beauty.Shaped by hands and minds,of those who have passed through our cities, streets, builders, planners, architects, artisans, and artistes, who have left theirs souvenirs in multitudes of remainders, subjects, sentiments, and human feelings, love and its glamorous grander.

Raw Street Portrait in Color
So recently I've been thinking about what to add and change how I photograph and document the people of Los Angeles, and so I started to shoot with color instead of my usual B&Ws and it made me realize just how beautiful colors can make a photograph look. With that said, I gave my self a new project to make a series of Raw Street Portraits in Color, that will be shot horizontally instead of vertically.

Antwuan Willis "Big Kandy" Dixon
Back on the Raw Street Portraits-
I ran into Antwuan yesterday as I was taking a stroll in down Town with Rinzi and David and I have to admit, I did not know who he was at all until I got home and googled him. His tattoos caught my eyes from a distance and so I asked to get a Portrait of him, and so here it is.

-Waiting- Down Town L.A.
After waiting for 30 minutes in down town L.A to capture my perfect subject using the rusted out graffiti on the garage door, I came to the conclusion that I should and will title this one -Waiting-

A day in the life of Ron- Voice Memo- Photos
In the midst of all the Las vegas glamour, cheek boutiques, hotels, casinos and restaurants. I stumbled upon -Ron- A homeless man from Detroit living in the cold deceiving streets of Las Vegas, and here are some of his words "It may not always work out everyday but as long as I wake up breathing and living in the morning, I am a happy camper" A soul with such positivity can survive any hardship life has to offer.
Here's an Audio recording I recorded while asking Ron a few questions about his day and life in Las Vegas, how he deals with people and his view of life.
Check it out...

Full Frame Candid street portraits
There are many genres and styles of portraits, and aside from my Raw Street portraits that are shot very close and only capture the subject's facial expression, I decided to switch it up a notch and try and capture a candid street photography full frame portrait. And so here is what I came up with. "one last note: this does not mean that I will stop shooting Raw Street Portraits" :-) Also, I will be adding new photos to this post every week, So please keep checking. Thank You
